AKTU Carry-Over Marks Policy
AKTU allows students to carry over specific backlogs (papers) to the next year without repeating the entire year.
AKTU's carry-over rule lets you progress with a limited number of backlog papers, but must be cleared before graduation.
Year to year
Students may carry up to 5 backlog papers from first year to second year; specific limits vary by regulation and are published annually.
Effect on CGPA
Every backlog attempt is recorded. Improvement of grades from re-attempts follows AKTU's improvement rules.
