How this works

Formula

Marks = (CGPA × 25 ÷ 100) × Total Marks

Example

CGPA 3.6 on 1000 marks → 3.6 × 25% × 1000 = 900 marks

Grading policies differ by university, department, and academic year. Use your institution's official calculator or transcript office for anything that counts (transfer credit, scholarships, honors).

FAQ

Why do I need to enter total marks?

CGPA is a rate. Marks are absolute — we need the maximum possible marks to scale the percentage into actual marks.

Is the ×25 or ×9.5 formula right for my university?

Confirm with your transcript office. These are the most common formulas but individual universities vary.
